Run, Forest. Run! In a hilarious clip from Twitter, we celebrate Urban Meyer’s newest hire, Anthony Schlegel, and his infamous tackling abilities.

One person we wouldn’t want to go head-to-head with would probably be a 250 pound former NFL linebacker. Yet, one fan made this mistake that he surely won’t forget anytime soon.

While working under Urban Meyer as the assistant strength and conditioning coach at Ohio State University, a fan decided it would be a fun idea to storm the field. He was sorely mistaken.

Anthony Schlegel sprung to action as his tackling attack mode kicked in. The fan wearing a pair of loafers stood no chance as Schlegel slammed him to the ground. Security quickly shows up to escort the man off the field. The now 39-year-old coach picks the young fan up by his jersey and pulls him to the sideline, where Schlegel tries to give him one more push on the way out.

The crowd is going nuts in the background, as are we while watching the 25-second clip.

Anthony Schlegel should definitely consider adding the hit to his highlight reel.

The clip honors Anthony Schlegel as the newest hire to Urban Meyer’s staff with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He will work as the head strength and conditioning coach once again for Meyer.

Anthony Schlegel Career

Schlegel initially played football at the US Airforce Academy but transferred to Ohio State University after his sophomore season.

In 2006, he was drafted 76th overall to the New York Jets, but by September of 2007, the Jets released him. A day later, he was picked up by the Cincinnati Bengals but only played for the team until May 1, 2008, and was released once again.

He was next drafted by a UFL team in 2009. Anthony Schlegel played for the Florida Tuskers through the 2010 season but called his playing career quits.

Urban Meyer picked up his former player as the assistant strength and conditioning coach for his alma mater and is now back to the NFL for a coaching position.

“You have the opportunity to work for someone you believe in and trust and understand their culture and what they want in an organization with Coach Meyer,” Schlegel said. “All gas, no brakes, let’s go.”

Let’s hope his tackling days are behind him though.
