Drew Brees is brightening up one fan’s day with a heartfelt message. The New Orleans Saints quarterback sends an encouraging video to Brian Fraser who’s battling cancer.

Fraser has been a lifelong Saints fan and is especially surprised by the video.

“I just want to wish you well man,” Brees says as a look of shock washes over Fraser’s face. “I just want to let you know that I’m thinking about you, praying for ya. Man keep fighting, keep the faith, just know there’s a lot of people that care about ya, a lot of people rooting for you here.

“I understand you’re a huge Saints fan,” the quarterback continues to say. “It’s good to know that we have Who Dat fans up in Canada.”

Fraser is sobbing at this point. “Oh my God. Who Dat is right,” he says as he holds up a blanket with the Saints’ fleur de lis.

Fraser’s Place of Work Reaches Out to Drew Brees

Fraser is a producer for CFRA which is a news/talk radio station in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The radio station reached out to the Saints franchise to see if Brees could send a video to Fraser.

Fraser took to Twitter last week to reveal that he’s been dealt “the worst hand possible,” reports. He didn’t share any further details about the state of his health. However, the tweet did lead to a message from the Super Bowl Champion.

“2020’s been a rough year, for all of us,” Fraser’s tweets reads. “I thought it couldn’t get worse. Today it did. Way worse. I don’t want to divulge too much this time, but it’s safe to say I’ve been dealt the worst hand possible. Still trying to wrap my mind around it. We’ve been given a chance, and you had better believe we’re gonna try and make the best out of it. I love you all. I love you greatly. The love you’ve shown us means more than I can ever express.”

He didn’t share any details about his health, but the tweet led to him getting a message from the Super Bowl champion.

Drew Brees Could be Returning to Play

The Saints quarterback has missed the last four games due to an injury in mid-November. He suffered 11 fractured ribs and a punctured lung. Brees has been cleared from the injury reserve list and can return at any time.

This Sunday, the Saints host the Kansas City Chiefs.
