WATCH: Massive ‘Conor McGregor Is Scared of Jake Paul’ Sign Flies Over Miami

A banner with a photo of Jake Paul and Conor McGregor flew over Miami. Is Paul taunting McGregor so he’ll fight him?

YouTube star turned fighter, Jake Paul, has spent months rallying former UFC champion Connor McGregor to fight him. Paul even offered McGregor $50 million for a fight. However, McGregor isn’t showing any interest in the “young lad.”

During an interview, McGregor finally gave Paul the time of day (briefly) and addressed his calls for a fight.

“It’s not on the radar at the minute with the young lad,” says McGregor.

However, it doesn’t look like Paul is heeding McGregor’s answer. Although the banner hasn’t been tied to Paul, it does seem like something the YouTuber would do to provoke McGregor into fighting him.

Bar Stool Sports shared video footage of the banner. Along with the video they write, “A message for McGregor was flying over Miami yesterday.”

Conor McGregor Talks About YouTubers and Celebrity Fighters

McGregor is no stranger to the spotlight. He is well-known for outbursts and taunting of his own. However, he’s also put in the hours required to rise through the ranks of the UFC world. Nowadays, YouTubers and celebrities alike can step into the ring with little professional fighting experience. McGregor shared his thoughts on the changing industry.

“It’s a mad little scene at the minute, isn’t it? But I’m not against any man that’s willing to make that walk ya know, all the best,” says McGregor.

Paul rose to fame through Vine before landing a role as Dirk Mann on the Disney Channel series Bizaardvark. Disney fired Paul after two seasons and Paul moved his career ambitions to the YouTube world.

Paul recently signed with Fight Club. Fight Club is a new boxing promotion launched by the team behind the Triller app along with rapper Snoop Dogg. The team is launching an event on April 17th featuring a fight with Paul. All of Paul’s efforts to fight Conor McGregor have been an attempt to seal an opponent for his April fight.

Despite taunting banners and Paul’s best efforts, it doesn’t look like McGregor will be fighting Paul anytime soon.

“That is what it is,” says McGregor in regards to Paul. “We’ll see what happens. That’s it. He seems like a confused little kid to me, to be honest.”
