The Country music capital is preparing for the CMT Awards tomorrow, and the Tennessee Titans are getting in on the action.
The NFL team has taken to Twitter to give their predictions for the 2020 CMT Awards. The over one-minute long video has already tallied more than 3,200 views, 12 retweets, and 62 likes, and the post has been up for only an hour.
The caption of the video posted by CMT’s account says, “What are our two favorite things? Country music and football, of course! The @Titans are here to give us their #CMTawards predictions! Watch the show TOMORROW at 8/7c to see if their picks win.”
Collaborative Video of the Year
After a brief introduction, linebacker Jayon Brown gives the first prediction for the ‘Collaborative Video of the Year.’ He thinks that Thomas Rhett and Jon Pardi’s song “Beer Can’t Fix” will take home the crown.
Titans center Ben Jones, along with punter Brett Kern, predict Dan + Shay and Justin Bieber will be victorious with their song, “10,000 Hours”.
While wide receiver A.J Brown is counting on Kane Brown and Nelly’s “Cool Again” to pull away with a win. Linebacker Rashaan Evans joins him with this vote.
Video of the Year
In the category ‘Video of the Year,’ Ben Jones and Brett Kern are again placing their bets on the same artist. They are predicting Luke Comb to be victorious with the video for “Beer Never Broke My Heart.”
Taylor Lewan, offensive tackle for the Titans, thinks Miranda Lambert’s song “Bluebird” will win the award.
On the other hand, A.J Brown is casting his vote for Carrie Underwood’s video “Drinking Alone.”
Jayon Brown thinks that Kelsea Ballerini will take the crown with “Homecoming Queen.”
Each player ended the video with the same quote, “I’m watching the CMT Music Awards Wednesday to see if my picks win.”
You still have a chance to vote for a few for your favorite artist on CMT.com. Voting for some categories is closed, however.
