WATCH: Patrick Mahomes’ Brother Jackson Pours Water on Ravens Fans After Chiefs’ Sunday Night Football Loss

The 2021 NFL season is off and running and that means Kansas City Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes is back and doing his thing.

It was quite an eventful offseason for Patrick Mahomes and his family. He became a first-time father earlier this year in February. Mahomes and his fiancee Brittany Matthews welcomed a baby girl, Sterling Skye, during the offseason. He and his Chiefs teammates also lost the Super Bowl to Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers earlier this year. The loss undoubtedly left a bad taste in the mouth of Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. The team and their star quarterback spent the offseason working hard to get another shot at winning an NFL championship. The Chiefs took on the Baltimore Ravens yesterday (Sunday) in a matchup of AFC playoff hopefuls. While Patrick Mahomes made news on the field, his brother, Jackson Mahomes, may have made some news off the field.

After a verbal tussle with a Baltimore Ravens fan, Jackson Mahomes helped the fanatic cool down by pouring water on him. The incident was caught on camera and is making the rounds on social media.

“Jackson Mahomes helps a rowdy Ravens fan hydrate after a crushing Chiefs loss,” the social media post explains.

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs would drop the game to the Baltimore Ravens in a dramatic fashion. In the stands, Jackson Mahomes was participating in his own dramatic fashion.

Patrick Mahomes’ Brother, Jackson, Involved in Fan Incident

It isn’t clear from the video what led to the incident. The Ravens fan appears to be annoying Jackson Mahomes enough to force retaliation via water bottle. Jackson, surrounded by two other Chiefs fans, appears to be calm in the video before opening his water bottle and dousing the Ravens fan. The same cannot be said about the Ravens fan, who appears to be antagonizing the brother of Patrick Mahomes. After drenching the Ravens fan with water, Jackson Mahomes calmly leaves the area with the two other Chiefs fans.

A majority of NFL fans are extremely passionate about their favorite team, to say the least. In a highly contested matchup between contenders, emotions are likely to run high. It’s likely this was the case in this particular incident. Still, it isn’t a good look for Jackson Mahomes, who is a social media star on Tik Tok.

Sunday’s game, which was the national “Sunday Night Football” matchup went down to the wire. A costly fumble by the Chiefs with seconds remaining in the game proved to be the determining factor. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs lost 36-35 to the Ravens.

Despite the loss, Patrick Mahomes was sensational, tossing three touchdowns and just one interception. The Chiefs are 1-1 on the young NFL season.
