Skip Bayless is a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan and talks about the team on Fox Sports whenever he can. However, on Sunday after a rare Cowboys win, Bayless posted a hilarious video of him dancing to celebrate.
Although the Cowboys are having a rough year since the loss of Dak Prescott and revolving door of starting quarterback, the team eked out a win yesterday, Nov. 22.
However, the Cowboys played the mediocre Minnesota Vikings, so the win may not be important. The Cowboys won the game 31-28.
While he is known for his talk show antics, a lesser-known fact is that he, apparently, is a stellar dancer. However, those skills might not have been used during the making of his video. Nonetheless, Bayless is decked out in his Ezekiel Elliot jersey and cowboys hat for the dance.
Bayless is certainly going to have a lot to say on his show, “Skip and Shannon: Undisputed.”
Set to the tune of “Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now),” Bayless stares down the camera. Celebrating the win, he says – all in capitals – that everybody should dance.
Bayless Gets Roasted on Twitter
Not everyone was as enthusiastic as him about the Cowboys win. In particular, Twitter has set about making fun of the ridiculous dance Bayless performs.
One person to make fun of the sportscaster was former Colts punter Pat McAfee.
McAfee even uses a gif of himself trying to examine the dance. Though the dance is hilarious, Bayless is undoubtedly excited about the fact his NFL team won a game. It has been a while since the Cowboys won a game. In fact, their last win was October 11 with Dak Prescott at quarterback.
Another Twitter user says that the dance Bayless performs is cringe-worthy.
Certainly a show stopper, and perhaps not for the best reasons, Bayless nonetheless is proud of his team. However, the Cowboys improved to a dismal 3-7 on the year. This effectively only makes their future first-round draft pick worse. That said though the NFC East is still very much up for grabs.
But once more, people continue to take shots at Bayless’ dance.
On “Shannon and Skip: Undisputed,” he said: “Finally! It feels like we haven’t won a game that mattered for like three years.” Surely the dance is well deserved.
