All About ‘Gold Rush’

Jesse made his first appearance in the “Dave Turin’s Lost Mine” edition of the hit Discovery television show last year. His job was both a gold miner and gold room operator. Jesse appeared in 15 episodes from the last season. He was also featured in Gold Rush and The Dirt that debuted this year.

Overall, Gold Rush began in 2010 and aired ten seasons on the Discovery Channel. The original show created three spinoff series: “Dave Turin’s Lost Mine,” “Gold Rush: Parker’s Trail,” and “Gold Rush: White Water.”

The upcoming season of the Gold Rush shows that are currently being filmed in Colorado was initially disrupted by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Though in most areas miners are considered to be essential workers, film crews are not considered essential.

The premise of the show is the team visits abandoned or family-owned gold mines across the country. The team would discover if the mines were decent enough to put back into business.
